Zohar Habot-Wilner

Zohar Habot-WilnerM.D. is the director of the uveitis & inflammatory eye disease service and retina consultant in the division of ophthalmology at the Tel Aviv Medical Center, Israel. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv UniversityIsrael. Her main interests are uveitis, medical retina, and inflammatory eye diseases. She is the founder of the combined Rheumatology-Ophthalmology clinic for patients with systemic and ocular inflammatory diseases at the Tel Aviv Medical Center and the founder of the Israel uveitis patients’ community.  
She was the chairman of the Israel Uveitis Society during the years 2016- 2020. She was the organizer of the ocular inflammatory disorders course, at the Lions Ophthalmology Educational Centre in Prague, Czech Republic and the founder and organizer of the uveitis course at the School of Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.  
She serves on the Editorial Board of Clinical and Experimental OphthalmologyEye, Ocular Immunology and InflammationEuropean Journal of OphthalmologyOphthalmologica and Case Reports in Ophthalmology journals. She published numerous international peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. 
She is a member of the EURETINA uveitis board and serves as an examiner at the European Board of Ophthalmology- EURETINA Exam 
In addition, she is a member of the scientific council of the Israeli Ophthalmology Board Examinations and a member of the recognition committee of the Israeli Medical Association Scientific Council. 
She is a member of several national and international societies including the American Academy of OphthalmologyEURETINA, American Uveitis SocietyInternational Ocular Inflammation SocietyInternational Uveitis Study GroupIsrael Medical AssociationIsraeli Ophthalmological SocietyIsraeli Society for Eye and Vision ResearchIsraeli Retina Society and Israeli Uveitis Society. 
She graduated the Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israelcompleted her residency in Ophthalmology at the Goldschleger Eye Institute at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel-Hashomer, Israel and fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England.
